1.New Site Look and NavigationWe now have a new fresh look for power-talk.net but more importantly an easier navigation layout. Just thought we would let you all know so you wouldn't close the page thinking it was the wrong website. We plan on use this new design for quite some time and hope you enjoy it! If you have any complaints or suggestions just let us know.
2. New Battery Style ComparisonsWe have had a few emails from people asking when we were going to compare different battery styles. Well people, it's here! We go in depth on Golf Carts, L16's and industrial batteries. Comparisons include cost, construction and lifespan. The info, of course, comes from our first hand experience of owning and using all three battery styles.

Will an Aspirin restore and extend battery life?
The old myth goes something like this. If you drop half an Aspirin in each cell of a dead battery it will magically have new life and work like new. Does it work? Simply put, no. The Aspirin forms ascetic acid which will actually attack the positive grid thus shortening battery life. That's definitely not good! However, it might be a fun experiment on a battery you're going to throw away anyways to see if there are any short term benefits. When it comes to your house batteries the only thing going into them should be distilled water, period! Save the Aspirin for real headaches.
